Mark Ross, photography/mixed media
Rosetta Bentz, painting
David Zalben, sculpture
To see more of their work, please visit the Artists Profiled section of our website here
Mark Ross is motivated by an intrinsic interest in the commonplace and the incidental. His work bridges painting, printmaking and photography with a highly improvisational creative process that he refers to as "digital repixelation." His method utilizes a painterly color palette and an implied sense of texture and surface dimension. Mark studied at the Art Students League, Carnegie Mellon University, and The School of Visual Arts.
Rosetta Bentz is a painter, collage-maker, potter and paper maker. Born in Calabria, Italy, she is fascinated and inspired by the earth's beauty. Her affinity for color and texture are evident in a body of work that shouts with life, urgency, anticipation and new beginnings. Bentz has exhibited her work in galleries nationally and has been commissioned for corporate collections. She currently lives and works in Long Island City, NY.

David Zalben was a professional photographer, who produced award-winning advertising campaigns, before he discovered painting and wirework. Whatever the medium of choice, his goal is to create art that resonates with the viewer. For him, airy wirework and painting on non-traditional surfaces, namely tins, allows for the crafting of imagery that is unexpected, as well as the expression of irony, humor, innocence and love. David maintains a studio as an artist-in-residence at the Artcenter/South Florida in Miami Beach.
