Gee-Whiz
Louis Romita is deeply attracted to the vibrant colors and visceral rhythms of Haitian and African art. Full of primal life and infinite contradictions, every piece portrays a sense of unique experience and emotion, as evidenced in the battling of demons and delights, pain and pleasure, as well as the explosion of color and burst of movement in all his works. Romita uses paint sticks and acrylic on both canvas and wood.
Amy Marx uses a representational style to convey powerful realist images that communicate directly with the viewer. Her paintings of storms and tornadoes have received extensive media coverage, including a feature on The Weather Channel. Most recently her work was covered in an article in the March 2009 issue of “The Artist’s Magazine”.

Darrell Jones studied painting and discovered animation at Jackson State University, in Mississippi. Shortly after, he started to meld the two mediums – the storyboard themes and sketches of animation with the vibrant colors and abstract shapes of painting. His work successfully fuses playful scenes with creative angles and colors to fully draw the viewer into every piece.
